Hi I'm Tim,
I love getting to capture couples' memories from their wedding day - It's one of the only reasons I've been doing it for so long. Film is a passion but the people and the purpose of documenting such an important moment is what keeps me. Thank you to every bride that has ever trusted me with their wedding. I take it very seriously and happily. When you trust your dollars with me I want to make sure I deliver value.
From the speeches, the vows, and the emotions during the first looks between a bride and her father, I think it's so important to document this big day by a professional.
things that motivate me.
I actually did the Dave Ramsey plan and paid off $38,000 in debt (5 years) making $36k a year. So a minor finance nerd. I love running. I have run 5 marathons and my best time is 2:24:50. I love the creative space it gets me too and I love the discipline of "just doing it."
I'll always try and advocate for getting a wedding film, but at the same time, I am a big proponent of taking your time to make the right decision for you. So I won't say any more there. haha.
I take a limited number of weddings a year. While your date may be available when you first inquire -I do fill up quick and if the date isn't filled I'll plug a vacation/missions trip/solo shoot for a friend often because I like to have a full schedule.
I don't say that to create urgency but to set a realistic expectation.

Why is video expensive?
When you hire me you're not just paying me to bring $14,000 of equipment to capture your day. You're paying for the skills picked up over the 10 years of filming, editing weddings that sets my brand apart. Think you can find someone for cheaper that makes the same quality films? Please hire them!
How far out do you take bookings?
I take bookings 1-2 years in advance but prefer to stay around the 1 year in advance mark.
What does the average couple spend?
The average couple is spending $4,479 for 2024.
What questions should I ask when trying to find a videographer?
Ask them what their end product looks like. Ask them how many years they've been in business. Ask them if they film the wedding or if an associate or other person films it. When it's your business you treat it differently.
